Posadas is a quiet Spanish town on the banks of the Rio Guadalquivir in the Cordoba valley, Rural Inland Spain. It is in the centre of a vast green agricultural area.The region is famous for growing oranges, peaches, cotton, sweet corn, sunflowers. The nearest large city is historic Cordoba which is half an hour away. The Spanish motorway system is 20 minutes away.
There are two main airports – Seville 1 hour and Malaga 2 hours. High speed rail links to Madrid, Seville, Malaga and the rest of Europe are to be found at Cordoba.(Click the red Seville or Malaga to see the routes from the Airport)
By Train: There is a station at Posadas. Trains go to Cordoba in 18 minutes and Seville in 40 minutes. Click on the Trainline icon in the left panel.
Visitors flying from Scandinavia: There is an excellent service to Spain. Fly to Malaga - hire a car - two hour drive to posadas to experience real Spain. Click on a link at the bottom of the screen on the left for flights from Norway, Sweden, Denmark or Finland.
